Expect the first retail units to arrive at European dealers sometime in the first quarter of 2018. To be offered with a manual transmission as well, Renault will showcase the Megane RS in its entirety in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. In Iconic trim this is a 7.0-inch, landscape-oriented unit, while RS Line increases its size to 9.3 inches and flips it 90 degrees to portrait. Incidentally, the Megane GT with the TCe 205 turbocharged four-pot churns out maximum power at 6,000 rpm. Interior Rating: 3.6/5 How is the quality and layout The Megane’s dashboard is based around a tall centre stack housing the touchscreen infotainment system. A particular pic also offers a glimpse of the TFT instrument cluster, with the rev counter appearing to show a redline of 6,000 rpm or thereabout. Befittingly, the flappy paddles are finished in black. Compared to the outgoing Renault ZOE, the Megane E-TECH’s interior quality is an astronomical leap forward.
